Ixtapa/Zihuatanejo Area Turtle Rescue
Right here on Playa Buena Vista there is a sea turtle volunteer program. Students from all over the world as well as locals safeguard eggs, keep track of statistics and release turtles back into the sea. If you are lucky on your visit here you may be able to help release some as well. It is a fantastic experience.
